Thursday Market

Our Thursday Market has been a part of the CFA programs from the start!

Our hours for 2025 are Thursday in May from 3-6pm then hours increasing until 7 for June, July, August & September. Market hours will then decrease back to 3-6 for October with the final market date TBA. 

At the market you can find local farmers, ranchers, bakers, crafters and artists selling plant starts, flowers, veggies, eggs, meat, baked goods, wooden furniture and many other products from their farm to your hands.

The Brownsville Thursday Market is looking for produce and plant vendors! Let's grow a healthy community together and provide fresh local food for our neighbors. One bite at a time.​​​

Become a Vendor

Market Day Procedures

  • Vendor set-up starts at 2pm, ALL vendors are required to be set up and ready to sell by 3pm. BE ON TIME. ($5 additional late fee)

  • Check in with the Market Manager for space assignment, if you do not have a permanent site

  • Vendors will unload and move their vehicles BEFORE setting up their booths

  • Vendor Parking is located in the Bramble House parking lot

  • Break down of booths starts at 7pm, breakdown your space, THEN go get your vehicle

  • New vendors must be pre-approved before each market day, no unannounced drop-ins. 

Vendor Fees

Market runs a total of 28 days

  • Daily vendor fee of $10/10X10 space

  • Seasonal Discount at $200/market season​​​

  • $5 additional late fee 

Community Booth

Are you a local backyard gardener or farmer that doesn't have the time or amount of production to have a full booth? Well, we're bringing back the Community Booth! 

The Community Booth allows you to drop off any excess plants or produce to be sold for you at the Market. 

How does the Community Booth work?

  • Drop off any plants or produce by 2:30 on market day

  • The market staff will sell your product for a 20% fee

  • Your profit will be available at the end of the day, if you can't make it back by market close at 7pm, your proceeds will be waiting for you the following Thursday

  • Any left over product not picked up at the end of each day will be donated to the Sharing Hands Food Bank here in Brownsville
